Intellectual Property Enterprise Court (IPEC) judge HHJ Hacon will visit Manchester on 5 May 2016 to provide a judge’s perspective on Intellectual property disputes. HHJ Hacon was appointed as the permanent, presiding judge of the IPEC and Chair of the Copyright Tribunal in December 2013. Since then he has presided over many interesting and varied cases which he will share with us in a talk followed by dinner at Malmaison.
As well as sharing interesting stories of his IPEC experiences HHJ Hacon will talk about the role of IPEC and what practitioners can do to get the best from it. HHJ Hacon’s talk will be followed by a question and answer session to allow the audience to share their experiences and hopes for IPEC with a further opportunity to talk over dinner.
